WIM Healthcare Ministries
Providing quality free healthcare to people in developing nations in the name of Jesus Christ. We do this by teaming up volunteers from the U.S. with host ministries there “on the ground.” WIM Healthcare Teams go into physically-challenging and spiritually needy areas of the world. Medical mission work is a powerful tool that creates opportunities to present the good news of Jesus Christ while meeting immediate needs of people in loving, practical ways. Participants will join a team of Chrisitan health care professionals demonstrating the love of Christ to indigenous peoples.
Gene Flanery, the director of the ministry, is also adjunct instructor of Spanish at Kansas City University of Medicine and Sciences and has specialized in medical Spanish training since 2001. On-site medical and dental Spanish immersion courses in Mexico are offered throughout the year through Gene's Spanish Plus Program.
2010 Prices for the Mexico trips are approximately $680 excluding airfare. The costs cover all food, lodging and transportation.
