OUR STORY
Our story begins 40 years ago among the indigenous peoples of Mexico in 1981. World Indigenous Missions has sent ordinary people around the world for one purpose: to disciple the nations to reach the world. Whatever type of ministry you have, as long as you focus on making disciples and training others to be Christ-followers there is a place in WIM for you.
We serve you
People are often surprised by the amount of administration required to function effectively as a missionary. From newsletters to donor relations, we are here to ease your administrative headaches.
We care for you
At WIM we care about your spiritual and emotional health. We will visit you regularly while you are on the field to encourage and strengthen you in mind and spirit.
We pray for you
Arriving on the mission field is the beginning of a new ministry. WIM has developed a network of intercessors who will pray for your needs. In addition our office staff prays for you daily.
OUR CORE VALUES
Our objective is to establish indigenous churches and works. Indigenous works are self-governing, self-supporting, and self-propogating.
We emphasize developing relationships and imparting life-lived truths on which a foundation for ministry can be based.
At WIM, relationship is the foundation for ministry. These connections bind us to one another with the common bond of Christ’s love.
We are building the Kingdom of God first and foremost, not the kingdom of WIM, and we will network with other organizations in order to accomplish this.
We follow Jesus’ example for leadership as we lead by serving one another in love.
